North American Mining provides dragline mining services to limerock operations in Florida owned by Rinker Materials of Florida, Inc.; Vecellio & Grogan, Inc.; and Tarmac, a Titan America Company. The limerock mined by North American Coal is used as construction aggregate throughout Southern Florida.
Since 1995, North American Coal's Florida Dragline Operations have provided limerock mining services to Vecellio & Grogan's White Rock Quarry in Miami-Dade County.
The company has provided limerock mining services to Rinker Materials’ Krome Quarry in Miami-Dade County since 2003, and in 2005, expanded its services to include Rinker Materials’ FEC Quarry.
